About Alona
Alona Fyshe is an Associate Professor at the University of Alberta. She is jointly appointed in Psychology and Computing Science. Alona researches the way language meaning is represented in the brain, and how that might be similar (or not) to how Language Models represent language meaning. She also explores other ways to improve language models by taking inspiration from the way people learn.
